I am super excited to be attending Quiltcon in February. It will be nice to hang out in Austin again and visit with my brother. Salt Lick is definitely on my to do list while I am there. But really, it’s all about the quilts. I am signed up for “Free-Motion Quilting on a Home Machine” with Elizabeth Hartman, “Get Your Curve On” with Sherri Lynn Wood and a Saturday lecture pass. Plus the ’80s Dance Party, which is sure to be tons of fun! These classes sound great and super practical to help build my quilting skills.

Can’t wait to meet everyone at Quiltcon!

Jen, I will be at QuiltCon, too! I am super excited, and kind of wishing it was February already.

I would love it to be February already. I am so excited for all of the classes and meeting great modern quilters from all over the country/world. It will definitely be the party of the year!

Hello! Salt Lick looks amazing. Can’t wait for some Texas BBQ, I’ve heard so much about it but I’ve never been to the USA so have no idea what to expect food wise. Looks like I’m in for delish meals!!!

Salt Lick is amazing. I like it the best of all of the Texas BBQ places I have eaten, but there are other really good ones. Stubb’s BBQ is in downtown Austin about a 10 minute walk from the Convention Center if you are looking for somewhere close. There are also a ton of great Mexican restaurants and a good Indian restaurant called The Clay Pit. You will love it!
